THE CAST

MICHAEL WILLIAMS (Baker)

Michael is one of the country's foremost theatre actors. His last appearance with the New Voice Company was in the musical Cabaret where he played the lead role of Clifford Bradshaw. Other NVC acting credits include lead roles in Stones In His Pockets and Angels in America parts 1 & 2. He was recently seen as Captain Von Trapp in Repertory Philippines' The Sound of Music. Other theatre credits include lead roles in: Man of La Mancha, Les Miserables, Kiss of the Spiderwoman, The Fantasticks, Little Shop of Horrors, The Secret Garden, Evita, Carousel, Lend Me A Tenor, Visiting Mr. Green, A Bedfull of Foreigners, Dinner With Friends, A Christmas Carol, among many others (all for Rep). For Actors Actors Inc. (for which he is also a founding member) he has appeared as the lead in Once On This Island, They're Playing Our Song, Art, among others. Michael was also part of the original cast of the West End production of Miss Saigon, and toured the UK as the lead role of Lun-tha in The King and I. Aside from being an actor for both musicals and straight plays, Michael is also a veteran stage director. His direction and co-direction credits for Rep include: Moose Murders, I Love You You're Perfect Now Change, Proposals, Jack and the Beanstalk, Cinderella, The Owl and the Pussycat, Visiting Mr. Green and God's Favorite. Michael is also a sought after director/talent/organizer of special corporate events around the country and around Asia.
