"MONIQUE - 25 YEARS IN THEATRE"

Sixteen years after playing the lead role of Kim in the original West End production of "Miss Saigon", and over a hundred twenty theatre productions behind her, Monique celebrates twenty-five years in theatre with an anniversary concert at the Music Museum.

"Monique - 25 Years In Theatre" is a celebration of her life in theatre, which began when Monique first started acting professionally onstage at age ten.

Monique was last seen onstage with the New Voice Company production of "Cabaret the Musical" - in which she received unanimously rave reviews for her "tour-de-force" performance as Sally Bowles. Even with many other film, television, recording and concert credits, and film awards to her name, Monique has never veered far away from her theatre home - receiving numerous awards for her theatrical achievements.

"Monique - 25 Years In Theatre" features Monique's 25-year theatre journey - with songs from well loved Broadway musicals of her early theatre years: The Sound of Music, Evita, A Chorus Line, La Cage Aux Folles -and from recent NVC hit musicals: Chess the Musical, Rent, Falsettos, Cabaret, and the company's next production -Andrew Lloyd Webber's Aspects of Love. She will also be doing a special re-arranged musical number from Miss Saigon, as well as a Phantom of the Opera medley, and songs from other hit musicals such as Whistle Down the Wind, Pippin, The Wiz, Godspell, Children of Eden, Sunset Boulevard, among many others.
